Our mission is to encourage and motivate you to engage in movement that aligns with your personal goals and feels right for you. We aim to cultivate an environment and experience where you feel welcome, included, and proud.



the Method is in the MIX.

After 20 years in the Fitness Industry, fitness ROOM Founder, Anna Townsend kept seeing the same thing...people (herself included) pushing their bodies to the brink, feeling burnt out, inflamed and lacking the results they wanted. SO FRUSTRATING! 

OR people experiencing the complete opposite by not moving at all and feeling overwhelmed and intimated by the "hustle" culture promoted by the fitness industry.


Exercise is not a punishment it is a gift. Fitness routines need to be sustainable to work.


the fitness ROOM method was created to address these issues by teaching people that movement can feel good if you tune into what your body wants and needs and mixing up the types of exercises/protocols you do, will get you better results!

how it WORKS

Less Hustle, More Results


We love to move around here and truly believe that daily movement of some form is necessary for physical and mental health. Our Method involves finding the right mixture of intensity and recovery to help you feel strong, feel energized, see results and reduce the potential for injury. Fitness & Movement looks and feels different for each individual, we provide the options and guidelines to find what works for you.


Variety is Key


A big part of our method is having a wide variety of class types to provide a sustainable and well balanced workout protocol that is results driven, but also feels good.


For example: We love Spin, its fun, a great stress release & awesome cardio, but if you spin everyday, you will most likely  burnout overtime (cortisol levels will rise) and you may lose muscle.

Solution: do spin 1-3 times a week and add in strength training and pilates or yoga to your weekly routine. Our space and memberships allow you to do that!


Find the right Options/Modifications


All our workouts are multi-level & adaptable to be suitable for both athletes and beginners (as per our method). Everyone is included and can modify to get the exactly what their body needs.  


Both Beginners and advance can share the space and enjoy the workout by customizing their workout via our 1, 2, 3 (high, medium, low intensity) modification method.

Make it fun, so you keep coming back. Whether it's the music, the community, the lights or essential oils (no florescent lighting and banging of heavy weights like the big box gym), Our instructors and staff are here to help. They are passionate, engaged,  inclusive and we love to laugh.
