We are excited to have you join this community, and our mission is to set our members up for success, ensuring they have the best fitness experience possible.


being PUNCTUAL


  • Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each class (not earlier) to ensure we have time to set up appropriately for every session and provide the best experience.


  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class if it is your first time so we can properly advise and set you up for success.


  • We will lock the doors once class starts and entry will not be possible.



what to BRING


  • We supply all the mats and props necessary for each class.


  • Our facilities feature beautiful showers, although you will need to bring your own towel.


  • Feel free to bring a water bottle, as we have a water cooler available, or you can purchase water at the front desk.


where to PARK

  • We have plenty of parking spots in the front parking lot marked "FITNESS ROOM RESERVED" or any unmarked spots.


  • There is also a parking lot to the left side of the building, feel free to park there.
  • There is also plenty of street parking.



cell phone policy


cell phone POLICY

  • We ask people to try to unplug and be in moment by leaving their cell phones off. This allows all class participants to enjoy an optimal experience. 


  • If you need to your phone because you are on call or for an emergency purpose, we are very understanding.



respecting the

ROOM


We love to chat, laugh, and connect with our community, but once class starts we ask that you keep side conversations to a minimum, as it is very distracting to the instructor and other members. Let's protect the vibe in the room.


spin SHOES


We do not provide spin shoes. You can wear standard running or cross-training sneakers for spin class, or you may bring your own indoor cycling shoes, as there is a clip-in option available (SPD clips).


cancellation POLICY


  • The cutoff time for cancellations is 5 hours prior to your class.


  • If you must "late cancel" your class, please do so using the App or the Member website (NOT BY EMAIL).


  • There's no need to reach out to the studio or your instructor; canceling through the App will notify us.


  • A late-cancel fee of $12 will be applied.


  • If you need the late fee waived (e.g., due to an emergency or illness), please cancel your class and email:

NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED $15 + TAX OR A LOSS OF A CLASS ON YOUR PASS.

NO SHOW POLICY

managing your waitlisted CLASSES



  • Treat waitlisted classes as reservations and remove yourself if you can’t commit.


  • When a reservation is cancelled, the first person on the waitlist will be moved into the class. If you no longer want the space, cancel within the cancellation window.


  • If you get an upgrade message with less than 5 hours’ notice, email HELP@THEFITNESSROOM.CA to decline the class at no charge.


storm POLICY

  • Check the App or website before leaving for class to make sure your class is still a go!


  • In the case of a storm or dangerous road conditions please put your safety first. If you do not feel safe coming to class and cannot unregister yourself due to our 5 hour cancellation policy please let us know at  help@thefitnessroom.ca


  • We always intend to run classes if it is safe to do. If an instructor is unable to safely make it to the studio we will cancel the class.

Monthly Membership MANAGEMENT


(unlimited, 12 class & 8 class pass)


  • Monthly memberships auto-renew every month until cancelled.


  • You can be cancel anytime after the 3 month committed window, via email to info@thefitnessroom.ca with 2 weeks notice.


Holds


  • You may put your membership on hold 2 times within a calendar year for a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 14 weeks per hold.
