-Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class. If there is a class in progress when you arrive, please feel free to wait quietly in our seating area.
-Doors open 15 mins (no sooner) before your class start time to allow us to set up properly for each class and give members the best experience possible.
FREE PARKING
-We have ample free parking (which is pretty rare for a boutique studio!) We have plenty of parking spots in the front parking lot marked "FITNESS ROOM RESERVED" or any unmarked spots. There is also a parking lot to the left side of the building. Please insure you are parked in the correct areas mentioned above.
SHOWERS
-We have beautiful showers for you to use in both of the studio washrooms, we just ask that you bring your own towel.
MATS
-We provide all the mats and props you need for each class. You are welcome to bring your own mat if you like.
INDOOR SNEAKERS
-Pilates, Barre & Yoga classes are done in bare or sock feet, Strength, Fhiit-camp & Spin require sneakers. Please bring indoor shoes or be sure to wear clean sneakers in the studio. You also have the option to store your indoor sneakers at the studio free of charge.
SPIN SHOES *We do not provide spin shoes
-You have the option to wear a regular running or cross training sneaker to spin class or you can bring your own indoor cycling shoes as there is a clip in option (SPD clips).
CELL PHONES
-We ask people to try to unplug and be in moment by leaving their cell phones off and stored if possible. This allows all class participants to enjoy an optimal experience.
ONLINE BOOKING
-Booking ahead is the best way to ensure your spot in class. You can book 2 weeks in advance. Download our booking app! iPHONE Android
*Keep in mind the waitlist moves quickly and spots open up, so don't be discouraged if you see a waitlist.
CANCELLATION POLICY
-5 hours is our cancellation cut off time.
-If you need to "late cancel" your class you must do so via the App or the Member website (NOT VIA EMAIL).
-You do not need to contact the studio or your instructor, cancelling on the APP will tell us.
-You will be charged a $12 late-cancel fee -If you need to dispute the late fee (ie: case of absolute emergency/illness), Cancel your class and
NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED $15 + TAX OR A LOSS OF A CLASS ON YOUR PASS.
STORM POLICY
-Check the App or website before leaving for class to make sure your class is still a go!
-In the case of a storm or dangerous road conditions please put your safety first. If you do not feel safe coming to class and cannot unregister yourself due to our 5 hour cancellation policy please let us know at Info@thefitnessroom.ca.
Email is the best method of communication for cancelling classes.
-We always intend to run classes if it is safe to do. If an instructor is unable to safely make it to the studio we will cancel the class. We will always cancel with at least an hours notice. On bad weather days, please check your email and/or social media an hour before class to insure we are still good to go.
MANAGING YOUR WAITLISTED CLASSES
-Please treat your waitlisted classes like a reservation and remove yourself if you can no longer commit to the scheduled class.
-When a reservation is cancelled, the first person on the waitlist will automatically be moved into the class. If you no longer want the space, please cancel within the cancellation window.
-If you receive the upgrade message with LESS then 5 hours notice (look at email timestamp), you can email info@thefitnessroom.ca to decline the class and we will remove you from class at no charge.

-Our members and staff is our number one priority. We want our members to get into the classes they want.
-Using the App to cancel your class helps our instructors focus on creating and delivering awesome classes, not the administrative work that goes into cancelling people and filling spots.
MANAGING YOUR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP
-Holds: You may put your membership on hold 3 times within a calendar year for a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 14 weeks per hold.
-Memberships can be put on hold or cancelled by sending us an email with 7 days noticed and provided you are within the time guidelines in your contract.
-Recurring monthly memberships (with the exception of our 6 month commitment special) can be cancelled anytime after the 3 month committed window, otherwise your membership goes month to month (automatically renews). This benefits the member by keeping them locked at their current rate.
